Whodunnit? Reaction + Handicap - Episode 3

I'll post another one of these Whodunnit? deals, but this time cutting it short - only going over the remaining cast members and trying to get a better handle on who's running things.

Writing that recap was a pain, and honestly.  If you wanted a full recap, you can probably just find better ones on Wikipedia, blogs dedicated to reality television, or ABC's site network.  So I won't bother with all that.  I'll just address the characters.

EPISODE 3 - Kaboom

Sheri
Dontae
Adrianna
Don

Well, Don was the same as before.  Quite competent in the morgue, but useless in searching for the killer's clue and ultimately missing important details in stating his case.  Neither Geno nor Ronnie told him about the bomb inside the golf cart?  Since Dana's steak also appeared to be uncooked, it gave the impression that the killer was letting his/her victims "choose their fate" or something.  Whatever.  Don's gone, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the mountain lion mauling in the morgue.

Status: Dead

Cris

Cris is sticking to her alliance with Kam, Ulysses, and Lindsey, but isn't sold on Lindsey's position.  I think that the entirety of Team Lawyers Blondes made it through because of Ronnie's lackluster fact-sharing and Kam's deductions.  Cris is one of three guests that everyone seems to think is the killer.

Chance of Killer: High
Chance of Winner: Medium

Dana

Poor Dana did not help herself at all by basically sitting out of the clue hunt.  Ronnie didn't give her enough to go on, so she ended up with a Scared card again.  Dana needs to do some more running around and be less trusting, because I doubt anyone thinks she's the killer now. If she's smart (and I still think she is, but too trusting) then she should align herself with Sasha and Melina, both of whom are definitely fed up with Ronnie.

Chance of Killer: Low
Chance of Winner: Low

Geno

Geno seems to be the guy that Ronnie trusts the most, which is certainly good for him.  Geno's a little manipulative and seems decent in all three phases of the game, so if he and Ronnie trust each other (not a given) then they could be an effective team.  They'd need a third person for the morgue, though (bye Don!) and I don't think any of the other players trust either of them.  Geno is the second of three guests that got a bunch of killer votes.

Chance of Killer: Medium
Chance of Winner: Medium

Kam

Kam was a major player in this episode, and I have a feeling this is going to be a recurring gig for him.  He is clearly the head honcho of Team Lawyers-Blondes, and seemed to piece many details of the murder together despite missing out on the Killer's Clue.  He's smart, he's the captain of the only functioning team in the game, and he's probably the most likely killer OR winner at this early stage.  Kam is the third guest that received three murderer "votes" in the state-your-case phase.

Chance of Killer: High
Chance of Winner: High

Lindsey

Lindsey was a focal point of this episode, and the keys to her winning the round was Ronnie giving up the Killer's Clue for her and receiving the benefits of Team Lawyers Blondes' workshopping.  As a result of all this, everyone trusts Lindsey less now, but it definitely paid off this time.  I have a feeling that Lindsey could be in trouble now - she might be exiled from ALL available teams due to that lack of trust.  If I were her, I'd stop playing the in-between game and pick a side, but I have no idea which direction she'll go.  If she's shut out, then she could be toast.

Chance of Killer: Medium
Chance of Winner: Medium

Melina

If I had to pick a loser for the next round, it would probably be Melina.  Of course, I have no way of knowing who's going to find the clue or how the teams will shake out, but Melina doesn't seem quite as observant as a few of the other guests.  Of course, she has been an asset in clue-hunting for the first three episodes, so I could be wrong.

Chance of Killer: Low
Chance of Winner: Low

Ronnie

Well, huh.  Ronnie.  Ronnie is clearly good at this game, and has been on point in finding these clues for two out of three episodes (in episode 2 he didn't find the clue, but examined the hallway and figured it out anyhow).  That's where he falls apart.  By seemingly only sharing his info with Geno (until he gave it to Lindsey and Melina in an aside) and shunning just about everyone else, Ronnie has alienated himself and needs to find a team STAT if he wants getting info from all three investigation phases.  Ronnie will be in good shape if he can get a team together, but until that happens he won't be trusted.  Could sink him, but it's easy to have faith in his detective skills.

Chance of Killer: Medium
Chance of Winner: High

Sasha

Sasha has been great in all three phases in each episode, but got unlucky losing a footrace to Ronnie to the attic.  If she, Melina, and at least one other person can get their acts together (Lindsey? Dana? Ronnie?) then they can contend with the lawyers.  If not, then I still think she'll make it decently far since she is one of the smarter people in the house.  You go get 'em, Sasha.

Chance of Killer: Low
Chance of Winner: High

Ulysses

Ulysses is a mystery. He's smart, he does well in investigations, and he was the winner of the second episode; however, Ulysses also seems like little more than Kam's sidekick.  He does everything that Kam does and sticks to his team.  That's probably a good strategy, but is he the murderer hiding himself, or is he one of the real contenders to win?  It really could go any way with Ulysses, but his success lives and dies with that of Team Lawyers-Blondes.

Chance of Killer: High
Chance of Winner: High

---

That's that!  I'll try and make this sooner next time, but I'm just going to stick to these character rosters.  Easier than writing a full recap.  Because I need to do some more writing about video games.
