Here we are, my final review of one of my 2014 targets.  Yes, I didn't beat it until January 3rd, 2015, and yes, right now it's mid-July.  Don't care.  Final 2014 target.  XenoBlade Chronicles for the Wii. 

GOT 'IM - Dragon Age: Inquisition

I still have a few 2014 game reviews to write in the first few months of 2015, heh. First among them is my assumptive 2014 Game of the Year, Dragon Age: Inquisition. 

Top Fourteen of the 14 in '14

Here's another annual tradition for this blog, in which I make some messy rankings of my favorite games I played in the previous year.  In 2014 (plus a few days) I finished ten target games, which works out quite nicely into a top ten list. 

GOT 'IM - Persona 4: Arena Ultimax

I think I get some kind of license revoked if I don't get a new favorite fighting game once a year.  Last year it was the first Persona 4 Arena game, and now it's the second one.  

GOT 'IM - Persona 2: Innocent Sin

Woof.  That Bravely Default was in limbo for over a month.  This one was much easier to write, as it was fresher in my mind.  I beat this game in October instead of August!  Behold, the "lost" Persona game, Persona 2: Innocent Sin. 

GOT 'IM - Bravely Default

Nope, still not a 2014 target game, but it was definitely most of my August gaming.  Whoops, it's December now, isn't it?  Oh well.  Here's a review of the current hours leader in my 3DS by a longshot, Bravely Default. 

GOT 'IM - The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Continuing my trend of blogging about games I've beaten a month prior, let's get into my 3DS library, shall we?  Here's a review of the latest Zelda, which is also my favorite Zelda title in twenty years.  Not a joke. 

GOT 'IM - Batman: Arkham City

Another weekend, another blog post.  Going to try to get back into the habit of writing these shortly after I beat video games.  This video game was finished almost two months ago, yeesh.  Batman: Arkham City review upcoming.

Gonna try to make this review quick, because there are three or four other blog posts I'd rather be writing. Time to talk about the fabulous DS game collection, Retro Game Challenge.  

DOUBLE GOT 'IM - Sonny and Sonny 2

Here's something different: I review two games at once, and they're both games I've beaten multiple times over the years.  A double review for a very nice double act: the Macromedia Adobe Flash-made browser RPGs, Sonny and Sonny 2. 

GOT 'IM - Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

I'm officially halfway done with my 2014 gaming quest, and I'm not even halfway done with 2014.  This is way, WAY more promising than last year, and I'm excited. Also, welcome to June.  My apologies for the blogging-free May, but I was busy with (A) being out of the country for 10 days attending a wedding and exploring Austria and Germany; and (B) playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, which I'll review presently. 

GOT 'IM - Digital Devil Saga

Six target games beaten on the year! I've been digging into those hard, and for the past month or so I've been digging hard into Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga.  Review up next.

GOT 'IM - Mortal Kombat

This is by far my fastest got 'im of the year (other than Frog Fractions, which was like 45 minutes).  Upcoming is a ramble-review of my week of playing 2011's Mortal Kombat. 

GOT 'IM - Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season One

Well, I failed my 4 in February goals, but not egregiously.  I wrapped up the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead on February 27th, completing three out of my four "pledged" games.  Here's the review for the game that got me actually interested in a zombie apocalypse.

GOT 'IM - Dust: An Elysian Tail

That's half of my 4 in February quest complete, coincidentally done so at almost the exact halfway point of the month.  I finished Dust: An Elysian Tail on February 15th, but reviews take awhile to write. So sue me. 

GOT 'IM - Assassin's Creed II

That's three target games on the year, and my first target for 4 in February.  The other three shouldn't take as long, so I think I'm setting a fair pace.  Let's talk about Assassin's Creed II. 

4 in February 2014

Last year I failed in my 2013 gaming goals, not the least of which was completing zero of my planned 4 in February games.  4 in February is a gimmicky little mini-movement that I thought was a nice idea, so I made a pledge to take part; it didn't work out.  2014 is a new year, and I'm going to give it another shot. 

GOT 'IM - Rayman Origins

Two completed target games on the year, and it's not even February yet! Here's the second: the gorgeous, entertaining, and brutally difficult Rayman Origins.
